Asian 5-Spice Chicken Soup

7 ounces uncooked chicken, cubed

  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 cup bok choy, shredded
  • ½ cup white mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seed oil
  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp chives, chopped
  • Dash of Siracha hot sauce (optional)
  • Directions

    1. Heat oil over medium heat.
    2. Add chicken and garlic to oil, sauté until chicken is cooked.
    3. Add broccoli, mushrooms, bok choy and chives, sauté  for 3 minutes.
    4. Add water and Chinese 5 spice.
    5. Bring to boil over medium-high heat.
    6. Add the dash of Siracha (optional)
