Trying to go on a diet while being a vegetarian may seem like an impossible task. It may feel like you are even more limited in the number and types of food you’re able to eat. The Medifast diet won’t prevent you from consuming the proper vitamins and minerals, even for vegetarians. In fact, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has suggested fortified foods like Medifast Meals if you are trying to pursue a meat-free weight loss and maintenance program.
